Karen McCullough sold her first novel, a romantic mystery, to Avalon Books in 1989. Since then, she has had almost two dozen novels and novellas published in the mystery, romance, suspense, and fantasy genres. Publishers include Avalon Books, Kensington, Five Star/Gale Group, Worldwide Mystery Library, and ImaJinn Books, a division of Belle Bridge Books. Her short fiction has appeared in a wide variety of periodicals and anthologies.
A member of Mystery Writers of America, Sisters in Crime, and the Piedmont Authors Network, Karen is also a past president of the Southeast chapter of Mystery Writers of America and served on the MWA national board. She has won numerous awards, including an Epic Ebook Award for fantasy, and has also been a finalist in the Daphne, Prism, Dream Real, Rising Star, Lories, and Vixen Award contests.
